Custom Onsite Training

If you’re reading this on your phone or computer, you already know the power and possibilities of the internet. A strong online presence is essential to success for everyone from young professionals up to to Fortune 500 companies.

To that end, Adobe Dreamweaver is the perfect tool for anyone looking to take control of their website’s potential. Dreamweaver is a professional web design and web development application that gives you full control over the content, appearance and behavior of your website. As a professional tool, it gives you full access to the HTML, CSS and Javascript source code. It also provides intuitive tools that allow you to make changes visually without having to know code. Because of its vast capabilities as a program, there’s a lot to learn and master.

Luckily, I’m offering onsite Dreamweaver Training Classes both in Orlando, Florida and all over the country. My hands-on courses give you the opportunity to practice in a customized learning environment led by an Adobe Certified Expert with over a decade of experience. Throughout my teaching career, I have taught a range of groups from small, personal classes to full, company-wide events for prominent businesses like NASA TV, NBC/Universal, Golf Network, WKMG News 6, and Dr. Phillips Charities.

Here are some additional ways to learn Dreamweaver on your own time.

Dreamweaver Communities

The internet has been a cultural force for almost 30 years now, giving communities the opportunity to come together in ways that weren’t possible before. For people who enjoy building websites or do web development professionally, there are several groups that give you the opportunity to meet like-minded people and learn some tips and tricks.

The Orlando Adobe User Group is the one-stop shop for Adobe software enthusiasts in the local area. Along with learning Dreamweaver, the group gives you the chance to dive into the rest of the Adobe programs like Photoshop, Premiere, and After Effects.

Another great community resource is the Dreamweaver Club, and online tutorial platform and user forum filled with helpful people and a backlog of solved problems. Sometimes, communities can be daunting, especially when you’re just starting. That’s why it can be good to start exploring the program at your own pace.

Official Video Tutorials

For a more in-home experience, Adobe provides extensive video tutorials on all of its products, including Dreamweaver. These videos expertly take you through a step-by-step process for most of the software’s features and show off helpful shortcuts to make your experience more efficient. Some of their videos include:

Independent Video Tutorials

Alongside officially licensed video courses, there’s hundreds of online producers creating their own tutorials and guide videos as well as complete professional video courses. YouTube channels like Joshua Kywn have over 40 Dreamweaver videos along with hundreds of other web development tutorials.

For a more current and guided experience, Lynda.com offers a Dreamweaver CC Essential Training course with transcripts and exercise files to work alongside the videos.

While independent videos offer extensive lessons and resources, they cannot give you any support if something goes wrong.

Tutorial Books

Lastly, there are text-based resources available to anyone looking to read rather than watch to learn Dreamweaver.

Adobe publishes their Classroom in a Book series for all of their programs, providing an up-to-date textbook guide for each one.

Another resource book available is the Adobe Dreamweaver CS6 Digital Classroom published by the AGI Creative Team. Similar to the official publication, this book gives you the essential steps to learn the program and get started building your website. Books allow you to read at your own pace and provide a solid base for learning but often grow obsolete within a few years. This book was published in 2012 and many parts of it may be out of date.
